Music Background-Sanctus

Based on the enduring favorite, Pachelbel’s ‘Canon,’ ‘Sanctus’ has become one

of Libera’s theme tunes. With its stratospheric vocal lines, and rich harmonies, it
is ideally suited to the young voices. In common with several Libera songs, the
language is Latin, and the title means “Holy.’ The vocal range goes rather high.
